Rachel is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Developmental Psychology at Liberty University, where her research and clinical interests continue to deepen her understanding of human growth, attachment, and relational wellness. Rachel is also a National Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors.
Rachel’s clinical experience spans inpatient and outpatient settings, where she has had the privilege of supporting youth, adults, couples, and groups. She specializes in mood and trauma-related concerns, premarital and marriage counseling, and perinatal mental health – including prenatal, postnatal, and the first year of parenthood. She has completed Level 1 Training in the Gottman Method for marriage counseling and is trained in Perinatal Mental Health Counseling.
With a holistic lens, Rachel believes true healing weaves together psychological, biological, social, and spiritual wellbeing. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in attachment theory and person-centered care, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Gestalt theory. Rachel tailors therapy to each individual or couple, creating a compassionate, collaborative space that encourages insight, growth, and meaningful transformation.
Rachel is passionate about helping people strengthen their relationships, cultivate resilience, and experience deeper emotional health – at every stage of life.
